ANKARA, May 11 (PRIME) -- The delegations of Russia, Ukraine, Turkey, and the U.N. will continue negotiations on the Black Sea grain deal very soon, the Turkish Defense Ministry said in a statement on Thursday
“The parties agreed to continue working at the technical level in the quadrilateral format with Turkey acting as a host so that the grain initiative could continue in an efficient way soon,” the ministry said after a meeting on Wednesday and Thursday.
The two-day meeting was efficient, and the deal is of vital importance for the global food supplies and security, the ministry said.
Russia earlier demanded access of its food and fertilizers to the global market, reconnection of Russian Agricultural Bank to SWIFT, resumption of supplies of agricultural machines, components and services, and operation of the Tolyatti–Odessa ammonia pipeline. The measures was included into the package grain deal, but none of them have been implemented yet.
